Configure the WAP browser

1:From the today screen, press Start.
2:Scroll to and select Settings (to select, press the center navigation key).
3:Scroll to and select Connections.
4:Scroll to and select More.
5:Scroll to and select ModemLink.
6:Set status to "Inactive" by pressing the center navigation key to the right and press Done.
7:Press Done.
8:Select Connections.
9:Scroll to and select GPRS.
10:Highlight NEW  then select Menu.
11:Select Add.
12:Verify the following settings

Connects to: The Internet
Access Point: wap.movistar.ni
User Name: gprs
Password: wap
Primary DNS: 0.0.0.0
Secondary DNS: 0.0.0.0
IP address: 10.12.23.1

13:Press Done to finish setup.


Configure proxy settings
IMPORTANT: The below steps are a requirement for movistarni access and multimedia messaging (MMS) capability.

1:From the today screen, press Start.

    NOTE: If continuing from the steps above, scroll to and select Proxy and then proceed to step 5 below.
  
    2:Scroll to and select Settings (to select, press the center navigation key).
   
    3:Scroll to and select Connections.
   
    4:Scroll to and select Proxy.
   
    5:Press Menu then select Edit.
   
    6:Verify the following settings:
   
    7:Connects From: The Internet
Connects To: WAP network
Proxy: wap.movistar.ni:8080
Type: HTTP
Username: gprs
Password: wap
8:    Press Done to finish.


Configure connections

   1: From the today screen, press Start.
   
    2:Scroll to and select Internet Explorer (to select, press the center navigation key).
  3:Press Menu.
  4:Scroll to and select Tools.
  5:Scroll to and select Options.
  6:Scroll to and select Connections.*
  7:Verify the following,then press Done to finish:
 
  Automatically detect settings: unchecked
Select Network: WAP Network
NOTE: Do not select "Secure WAP Network"
